Hi! I’m Rhonda
I am a daughter, sister, wife to my husband John of over 50 years, mother of 5 wonderful children that entered our life through adoption. I am so blessed. As of today we have 14 grandkids and 6 great grandkids with the 7th due this summer. I love to travel. Just give me a place to go and I am there! I also took up motorcycle riding when I turned 50, and rode my harley all over the western United States and Canada. I was even president of a womens motorcycle organization so all of my trips have been with other grandmas! We do get the looks! Two years ago I gave up two wheels and moved up to 3! Life is surely busy and a great adventure.
I am the owner of Rhonda’s Ruffles. I have all different hats in my business. I am the designer, I order supplies, I am in charge of the mail room, janitor, website designer…but most of all I love making beautiful wreaths and floral arrangements. I started at a young age working in my mothers flower shop. It was a great learning experience. After marrying my husband( whom I met at the age of 11) we moved to Northern Nevada (I am a 4th generation Native Nevadan). Here we worked together in our Construction Company. Again wearing many hats, but mostly Office Manager and accounting. About 8 years ago I decided it was time to start selling my crafts as my home was over run with wreaths and florals. I started at craft shows where I was very successful selling hundreds of wreaths. I also opened my Etsy shop where I now I sell most of my product. A major accomplishment is that I reached 1,000 wreaths sold on Etsy this year.
I love designing wreaths for every season and every reason. I love working in all materials: fresh, artifical, deco mesh, grapevine and burlap. Did I say I have a ribbon addiction??? The last two years farmhouse wreaths have been very big. I can hardly keep my different roosters in stock. I think I should change my shop name to Rhonda’s Ruffles and Roosters! If you want an instant lift put a wreath on your door or in your kitchen…or anywhere for that matter. And remember wreaths are always a wonderful gift.
I hope you will take the time to check my designs on my Etsy Page. You can find the link on my home page. Thanks for stopping by!
